The Commander-in-Chief of the new Syrian administration, Ahmed al-Sharaa, confirmed that his administration has systematic plans to address the systematic destruction and that the priority is stability and state-building, stressing that efficiency and ability will be the basis for evaluation. Al-Sharaa said in a meeting with a number of journalists and media professionals that he has clear goals and ready plans for construction and development, and he also said that the form of authority is left to the decisions of experts and lawyers. The Syrian people are the ones who will decide. Ahmed al-Sharaa added that the new Syrian administration will form committees and councils concerned with re-examining the constitution, and that the next government will include elections. Ahmed al-Sharaa also said that the Ministry of Defense will dissolve all factions and that there will be no weapons outside the authority of the Syrian state. Regarding the components of the Syrian people, al-Sharaa said that he has relations with Christians and Druze and that they fought within the Military Operations Administration, and that the Kurdish component is different from the Kurdistan Workers' Party. Al-Sharaa denied that the new Syrian administration has any hostility towards Iranian society, stressing that it has given Russia an opportunity to reconsider its relationship with the Syrian people, and revealed that the new administration is communicating with Western embassies and that it has held discussions with Britain to restore its representation in Damascus. Regarding the recent Israeli violations, Al-Sharaa considered that Israel's arguments are weak and do not justify its violations of the 1974 ceasefire agreement, warning against an unjustified escalation in the region, saying that they are not about to engage in a conflict with Israel.
