Have you ever wanted to go on a safari in Italy? Maybe we have the right idea: horse watching! In Liguria, in the Aveto Regional Natural Park (about an hour away from the Cinque Terre), there are Wild Horses that roam among the meadows and beech woods. These are currently the only true wild horses in Italy: they descend from domestic horses that were abandoned but have adapted to living in complete autonomy and now give us the opportunity to observe the behavior of these animals that we consider domestic in nature.
