From Susa you reach the Colle del Moncenisio and, after 20 KM you park at the Grand Croix square, a former French customs house. A beautiful military road climbs up to 3000 meters where FORTE MALAMOT stands and, a little further up entering the turret, you come out on the crest to reach POINTE DROSET. Along the climb you can see the ruins of the barracks and going down, just above the dam, it is worth stopping at FORTE VARISELLE. The detour to LAGO BIANCO is highly recommended
