#excursion #trekking #viglio Monte Viglio (2156 m) is the highest peak of the Càntari Mountains, located in its central-northern portion. Located between Lazio and Abruzzo, between the provinces of Frosinone and L'Aquila, it borders the Cantari to the north, the Val Roveto to the east, Monte Pratiglio to the south and the Val Granara to the west (which it overlooks with its steep western slope). From the summit it is possible to observe the panorama of the Fúcino basin and the Velino-Sirente chain to the east, the Maiella and the Marsicani Mountains to the south-east, the Ciociaria to the west, the Ernici Mountains to the south and the Simbruini Mountains to the north.
