WHAT IS NR-11 - TRANSPORTATION, MOVEMENT, STORAGE AND HANDLING OF MATERIALS? Its purpose is to define safety standards for the installation and operation of elevators, cranes, industrial conveyors and transport machines. In addition, it also presents the way to store materials inside these devices to ensure safety. NR-11 promotes awareness and recognition of good practices adopted in the market, but places them as regulatory and official for all companies subject to the legislation. NR-11 lists the obligations due to each type of logistics activity, which concern the transportation, movement and storage of various loads. NR-13 came to regulate the principles previously published in articles 182 and 183 of the CLT (consolidation of labor laws).
