One of Stephen King's most interesting, complex, and terrifying stories is the story of Pet Sematary, also known as Pet Cemetery and Pet Sematary by its English title, which is one of Stephen King's most iconic and popular stories and novels and which over the years has become a cult story. In the plot of the novel and the different film adaptations such as the 1989 Pet Sematary film and the 2019 film, we follow a young family who have just moved into a large house that is near a highway in the rural and somewhat old town of Ludlow in Maine. It is here where the father of the family named Louis Creed begins to work as a doctor at the local university of this place, curiously the Creed family that is composed of Louis, Rachel, Ellie, Gage and their cat Church realize that in the yard of their property and in an area near the woods, there is a strange and macabre animal cemetery or pet cemetery which is used by local children to bury their pets that died. Due to how fast the trucks pass by the nearby road, many of the dead animals are run over by trailers and trucks, that is why this cemetery was created. Even so, when the cat Church dies run over by a truck, the neighbor of the Creed family named Judd Crambell decides to help his new neighbor and friend and that is why he tells him to go a little further from the pet cemetery to the real cemetery that is a few kilometers further into the forest. So Judd tells him to bury Church in an old Indian cemetery of the MicMac tribe. Although Louis is somewhat skeptical about all this, he does what Judd tells him and so, unexpectedly and incredibly, the next day in the afternoon, Church returns alive and normal, without any real explanation. This is where the most interesting and terrifying plot of the novel and the film begins, which explores what would happen if a human being was buried in the ancient cursed cemetery of the Native Americans. That is why in this video I will explain in detail the history and origins of Stephen King's pet cemetery or cursed cemetery and for that I will make a narration and a kind of chronology or timeline talking about this subject and explaining how it is that the wendigo or a malevolent and ancient spirit of the Native Americans managed to possess those lands and that is why it revives the dead in a certain way. Then I will explain a little about the plot of the film and novel and I will also talk about how the wendigo returns in another of Stephen King's stories titled The Girl who Loved Tom Gordon or The girl who loved Tom Gordon, I will also talk in detail about what inspired the author Stephen King to create this story, finally I will explain everything we know about the terrifying wendigo or windigo that possesses the pet cemetery or the cursed cemetery from the story of the talented master of horror Stephen King.
