About :

Elli is 22 years old and is in her 5th semester of studying psychology (B.Sc.) at the University of Hamburg. The fact that she was able to complete an internship in a psychosocial facility for traumatized refugees right in the middle of her bachelor's degree is thanks to a new development in the range of courses on offer. Since the winter semester of 2020/21, you can choose a new course of study here that is geared towards future psychotherapy training. The additional training after graduation is a prerequisite for Elli's dream job as a psychotherapist. The compulsory clinical internship in the bachelor's degree is intended to introduce students to therapeutic practice earlier. For Elli, this is a "ray of hope" after 4 semesters of theory: Although she has absorbed every lecture so far with burning interest, she still doesn't know how well she actually does in practice. In the internship, she wants and will now find out how she copes in patient interviews.
