As the lead partner of the NetzwerkWasserAgri, Klimapraxis is collecting methods of water retention in agriculture and land management in this series. In the first episode, we visit the forest horse farm near Müncheberg, where a flagship project of the NetzwerkWasserAgri was created. To prevent drought, an agroforestry system was implemented in keyline design, planned by forestry scientist Dr. Philipp Gerhardt, which is intended to keep more water available in the landscape. Keyline design is a complex design concept that is intended to improve water retention capacity and the microclimate along so-called key lines. More at www.wasser-retention.de
