Many years ago, Janne Lund from Stockholm bought a Monark moped from 1960. Back then it was basically just a frame with a fork and fenders. After some research it turned out that it was not a regular Monarped but the more luxurious La Strada model. Many associate La Strada with a sporty moped that has double exhaust pipes and is called 309 F in Monarch language. But there is one more La Strada and that's the one Janne has bought – a 309 S. This one seems to be more rare than its twin-barrel sibling, which has also been shown in the search for parts. That's why Janne has gone to market after market armed with Monark's spare parts catalog. After a number of years, the pile of parts has grown and some parts have been replaced as they were not correct. All painting has been done with spray cans - always filled with "professional varnish". Now almost everything is right and La Stradan is ready to meet Swedish roads again.
