The most dramatic journey of our lives, newly edited and in feature length. In this Himalaya travel film, we take you on our crazy journey through the mountains, deep snow, extreme altitudes and all of this in our 40-year-old Mercedes Düdo, whose first gear is broken. We want to drive to Ladakh, a Buddhist and Tibetan state in India, via the Leh Manali Highway. On the way, however, there are several 5000m high mountain peaks that we have to cross, extremely bad roads, our old van has to contend with the thin air, we have altitude sickness and without first gear we can't make it up the mountains. On top of that, there's the chaotic Indian traffic, a breakdown, extreme weather and even more high mountains. So buckle up, there's a lot going on in this vanlife film.
