Prayers can bring intercession and be a way for prayers to be answered. The recommendation to pray prayers is stated in QS. Al Ahzab verse 56: إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ وَمَلَٰٓئِكَتَهُۥ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى ٱلنَّبِىِّ ۚ يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ صَلُّوا۟ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلِّمُوا۟ تَسْلِيمًا Meaning: Verily, Allah and His angels pray for the Prophet. O you who believe, pray to the Prophet and say greetings of respect to him. THE PRINCIPALITY OF SHOLAWAT Referring to the Book of Shalawat of the Prophet, Imam Ibnu Qayim Al-Jauziyah, that the virtues of prayer are: 1. Sholawat is a prayer addressed to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ as proof of love and respect for him. 2. Harmony of ALLAH ﷻ in praying for Rasulullah ﷺ 3. A Muslim who practices prayer will get prayer from ALLAH ﷻ. 4. A Muslim will be raised 10 degrees by ALLAH ﷻ. 5. For a Muslim who prays, ALLAH ﷻ will give 10 graces if he prays once. 6. Become a transmitter so that prayers are answered by ALLAH ﷻ. 7. Reading the prophet's prayers provides kifarat or forgiveness of sins. 8. Get intercession from the Prophet ﷺ in the afterlife. 9. The Prophet's prayers which are read sincerely because of ALLAH ﷻ will make a Muslim fulfill his wishes. 10. Praying the Prophet's prayers is a form of alms for people who are unable to give alms.
