He is the only offspring of his pack, which consists of his grandfather, grandmother, and mother. During "the big shake" (an earthquake), his mother dies after facing a Tyrannosaurus rex (in the film called Sharptooth). Little Feet then sets out in search of the legendary Great Valley and along the way, which his mother had shown him before she died, he meets four other young dinosaurs who join him in his quest: the bigmouth (Saurolophus) Ducky (Patito in some Latin American countries), the three-horned (Triceratops) Cera, the spike-tail (Stegosaurus) Spike (Púas in the first film and his original name in the rest of the films) and Petrie (pronounced "Petri"), a flyer (or pterosaur, although these animals were not actually dinosaurs but a separate group). It is a journey full of surprises and dangers in which the small but brave gang will have to face the most fearsome predators and countless challenges, to discover new life lessons and the importance of working as a team.
