Even though it is still part of the BOGESTRA fleet, the Solaris Urbino 12 III from 2011 and 2012 has many fans. Its lounge, design and the diverse range of models in use are the last six 2011 solo buses in operation at BOGESTRA before the final phase. But further development at Ückendorf means that no more examples are being made before this one. The BYD E-Bus 12 Electric with Greencity has been at BOGESTRA since 2020, and almost all 20 old electric buses have been added for several scheduled services in Gelsenkirchen and Bochum. While all 2010 and 2011 Solaris Urbino 18 III Hybrids at BOGESTRA have already been decommissioned, and almost all 09 articulated buses (KOMs 0963, 0964, 0965, 0970, 0972 and 0975) will also be decommissioned soon. Both KOM 0966 and 0967 had the driving school cars and are still in use. The two solo buses of the cars 2401 and 2402 and the 10 articulated buses as KOM 2461-2470 are already in service with the newest Citaro C2 Hybrid, which will be put into operation today. The reduced KOM numbers (2620 to 2629) are also available. A Citaro C2 G in the newest version at Vestische will only arrive with a delay.
