Wet exit; If the skirt is to be closed, it is the first skill that all individuals who do sea kayaking must learn. By learning the wet exit technique, which is one of the first ways to rescue oneself, the next skills can be moved on to. The skill levels of the group members, their previous experiences, and which technique is technically appropriate (heel hook or climbing) should be determined regarding the wet exit technique. Deep water rescue is a basic rescue skill. The ability to put a swimmer back on the ski is an important technique for all skiers. We should be able to perform rescues in deep waters in various environments by practicing and make it fast, efficient and safe. There are 4 important elements of deep water rescue; 1- Steps that the swimmer can take, 2- Methods of contacting the swimming ski, 3- Draining the water from the capsized ski, 4- Getting the swimmer back on the ski. First, this technique should be practiced in calm conditions and then repeated in difficult and variable conditions. The wet exit should be repeated several times in the first training and occasional reminder trials should be made over time. #canoekayak #seakayak #seakayaking #kayaking #kayak #canoe #canoeing
