About :

It's time to pack up your ATVs and head to Lapland again, the best ATV event of the winter was in Raajärvi at the end of November, and of course we went there. The early winter was really warm in Lapland, so we were excited to see if the guys would be frozen there. But they were :) Raajärvi is a small town between Kemijärvi and Rovaniemi, which was once known for its mining activities. That mining activity ended in an accident, when one of the mines filled with water. Now there are authorized routes in those areas where you can challenge your driving skills on ATVs or offroad SUVs. In addition, there is one of the largest shooting ranges in Europe nearby, the Rovajärvi shooting range. You can drive there if there are no exercises in the area. And we were so lucky that the NATO and Finnish army exercises ended just a day earlier. So we reserved one whole day for an adventure at that shooting range!
