About :

Gravitational waves were first detected interferometrically in 2015, a hundred years after they were predicted. But these were waves with frequencies in the hundreds of hertz. To detect lower frequency waves, we need a much larger device, even larger than the Solar System. Pulsars can serve as a detector comparable to the dimensions of our entire Galaxy. The first successes of the new detection method came this year.
