The Aegean Sea is a geography where the westernmost part of Asia and the easternmost part of Europe intersect, consisting of thousands of islands, islets and rocks. And it is where the problems between the countries on both sides, Turkey and Greece, are concentrated. According to Turkey, the main headings of the problems are maritime jurisdiction areas, namely the width of territorial waters and the continental shelf, airspace, islets and rocks of unknown affiliation and Greece's militarization of the Eastern Aegean islands, while according to Greece, there is only one dispute, the continental shelf. We examined the theses of Turkey and Greece on the Aegean problems, along with the comments of former Athens Ambassador Hasan Göğüş and Greek Ambassador (ad hon.) Dimitris Paraskevopoulos.
