It happened in Peru This is a long story that began in Barrios Altos with the Hospital of San Andrés and the Hospital of Santa Ana. Later, also in Barrios Altos, the Mental Hospital of Cercado was opened, which was located in the Plaza del Cercado. In 1918, 100 years ago, the Asilo Colonia de la Magdalena was opened, which would later become what is now the Hospital Víctor Larco Herrera.
