Synopsis: Leão is a different, perhaps unique way of seeing Francis. The story takes place when Pietro, a young friar, meets Francis' beloved disciple, Leão, who was with Saint Francis until the day he departed to heaven. Discover the emotion and charm of the words in the dialogue between the two. In the cast: Luthero de Almeida, this giant of television drama plays the character Leão and Adriano Brandão plays Pietro, Ederson Loccatelli and Maria Clara Pilatti play Francisco and Clara. The film Leão, in addition to celebrating the day of Saint Francis of Assisi, October 4th, is also a tribute to the fiftieth anniversary of the film “Brother Sun, Brother Moon” by Franco Zeffirelli and simultaneously celebrates the 800th anniversary of the Secular Franciscan Rule.
