Dr. Peer Eifler lived in yurts, with horses instead of cars, and traveled around the world with his family without possessions. "Follow your heart" was the guiding principle of his teaching. When he completed his medical studies, he lacked depth and vitality. He wanted to understand people holistically. His search led him to psychotherapy and ultimately to China, where he studied traditional Chinese medicine. A deep longing drew him to Tibet: There the young doctor lived in a monastery and was initiated into the last 800 years of his eternal life by Kalu Rinpoche, the Dalai Lama's meditation teacher. As a guru, he lived without possessions, traveled around the world in small groups - and had to watch as two of his marriages fell apart and the teachings became increasingly difficult to live and implement. So one day he found himself on a bridge from which he wanted to jump. Then he heard a quiet voice in his heart urging him to type the words "meaning of life" into Google. ▬ About this channel ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ TV talk with Ruedi Josuran about questions about life, God, Jesus and the Christian faith.
