Learn in this video how to form any harmonic field (major, minor, harmonic minor, melodic minor, diminished, whole tones, etc.); what is the relationship between harmonic fields and musical scales; how to find the key of a song; what is tonality; how to change the key of a song; how to know which scale to use to create solos, arrangements and improvisations in a song based on its harmonic field. We will start by showing a basic rule for forming a major harmonic field using triads and tetrads. Just take the 1st, 3rd, 5th and 7th degrees of each note of a specific scale to build its tonal system. This way, it is easy to understand why the seventh chord of the major harmonic field is half-diminished m7(b5) or diminished (diminished triad). You will no longer have this doubt. Another important thing is to understand that a tonality has the same structure regardless of the tone (initial note). Then, we form the minor harmonic field, detail by detail, and we do the same with several other tonalities, so that the concept of formation becomes very clear.
