The subject of Eşrefpaşalılar is; In an Istanbul neighborhood where drug trafficking is carried out, guns are fired almost every day, knives are drawn, bullies are pacing, theft and fights are never absent, a new cleric is appointed to a mosque that has been closed for years without an imam. In the later parts of the film, it is learned that Tayyar, one of the two close friends who came from Izmir and settled in Istanbul, became the mafia leader, while Davut opened a coffeehouse to earn his living honestly. Although they both loved the same woman (Madam Eleni) in their youth, Madam Eleni was forced to marry Tayyar and had a daughter from him. Seeing that Madam's love for Davut did not end, Tayyar left her with his daughter and has been continuing his mafia business ever since. Davut's adopted son Tayyar, who has just been released from prison, wants to get revenge on Davut because Madam loves him. The neighborhood bully Nusret is torn between the girl he loves and the people he loves on one side; and money and sultanate on the other.
