This is how extreme a mountain bike tour in the mountains is. Click here for more adventures: https://1.ard.de/Bergauf-Bergab-Start Do you remember our mountain bike tour from Mont Blanc to Briancon? Now there is a sequel: from Monviso to the Mediterranean. Again with impressive scenery, wild trails and interesting places like the village of Paraloup, a partisan hideout during the Second World War. Author: Michael Düchs Some mountain tours leave such a lasting impression that you would like to do them again straight away - or continue. That is exactly what we did for the new Bergauf-Bergab show. Following on from our mountain bike crossing from Mont Blanc to Briancon, we went mountain biking again and this time cycled from Briancon to Pigna in Liguria in five days. And we were able to have similar, yet completely new and different experiences as on the first part of the tour: Again we were deeply impressed by the vastness and solitude of the landscape, again our guides Stefan and Eric showed us wild and beautiful trails, again we met hospitable people and got to know interesting places: For example, the tiny village of Paraloup in the Val Stura, which was a refuge for partisans during the Second World War.
