The last meeting of the Traunstein City Council this year is also the last meeting of Valentin Rausch (Alliance 90/The Greens). He is resigning from his position for personal reasons. Günter Fembacher will take his place and will also be sworn in at the meeting. In addition, the composition of the committees and the "Sports and Volunteering" department will be reorganized. The meeting will take place on Thursday, December 12th, at 4:30 p.m. in the Great Hall of the Town Hall. Another item on the agenda is the determination of the property tax assessment rates. The new assessment rate statute is to come into force on January 1st, 2025. The council will also decide on the extension of the directive for the promotion of non-profit associations and other institutions, hear a report on the city's investments and pass a statute resolution to draw up a development plan using the simplified procedure on Hubertusstrasse. Finally, Mayor Dr. Christian Hümmer and 2nd Mayor Burgi Mörtl-Körner will give their annual closing speeches.
