Welcome to the Balta Albă District in Bucharest! Today we met again with the historian Mihai Burcea to take the streets of Bucharest and discover the story of two neighborhoods that still exist today but whose story is less known, namely the Raion Plot which is located behind the blocks from Piața Muncii, and the Dog Experiment which is behind the Victor Babeș hospital. Two neighborhoods filled with villas and single-story blocks of flats. After discovering the two stories, we continue our journey to the National Ice Rink where on the way we stop and tell about the longest block with 4 floors, about the Romanian Optical Enterprise (IOR), the tallest wedge blocks in the revolution, the sports complex Voinicelu, the IOR Park, the Horseshoe block, the Horseshoe Complex, the Parachutist Tower, and the National Park. The material is divided into 3 episodes. This is the first episode.
