POMPEIIAN NOVENA - JOYFUL MYSTERIES OF THE HOLY ROSARY WITH FATHER DOMINIK CHMIELEWSKI SDB The Apostolate of Jesus and Mary (AJIM) invites you to pray the Holy Rosary with Fr. Dominik Chmielewski SDB. The Pompeii Novena lasts 54 days. Every day we pray three parts of the Holy Rosary: joyful, sorrowful and glorious. If someone wants, they can pray the fourth part with the luminous mysteries. The first part consisting of the I Believe in God, Our Father, 3x Hail Mary and the Glory to the Father is prayed only once before the joyful mysteries (we have also inserted this prayer before the luminous, sorrowful and glorious mysteries in consideration of people who do not pray the Pompeii novena, but only one part of the rosary daily). Before beginning the Rosary, we first state the intention: For the spiritual rebirth and unity of the Polish Nation, and then we say: I pray this Rosary in your honor, Queen of the Holy Rosary. For 27 days, we pray the supplication part of the Pompeian novena, and every day, at the end of the Rosary, we pray the following prayer: Remember, O merciful Virgin of the Rosary of Pompeii, how it has never been heard that any of your worshipers, with your Rosary, calling upon your help, was abandoned by you. Oh, do not despise my request, O Mother of the Eternal Word, but by your holy Rosary and by the pleasure you show for your temple in Pompeii, hear me kindly. Amen. For the remaining 27 days, we pray the thanksgiving part of the Pompeian novena, and every day, at the end of the Rosary, we pray the following prayer: What can I give you, O Queen full of love? I dedicate my whole life to you. As much as I have strength, I will spread Your worship, O Virgin of the Holy Rosary of Pompeii, because when I called upon Your help, the grace of God visited me. I will tell everywhere about the mercy that You have shown me. As much as I am able, I will spread devotion to the Holy Rosary, I will proclaim to everyone how kindly You have treated me, so that even the unworthy, like me, sinners, may go to You with trust. Oh, if the whole world knew how good You are, what mercy You have for the suffering, all creatures would have recourse to You. Amen. Regardless of the final prayers, we end the rosary with a threefold invocation to the Mother of God: Queen of the Holy Rosary, pray for us.
