Just like last year at this time, we set off on trails through the mountains and our goals are clear: bike parks, trail centers and interesting tips for bike trips around the area - there are a total of eight locations in front of us, and today we start with a ride in the Karlovy Vary region. If you are not familiar with the surroundings of Karlovy Vary, you may be pleasantly surprised by how quickly you can disappear from the city bustle into the relief of peaceful nature on a bicycle. Klínovec – 30 kilometers of trails of varying difficulty. Characteristic are the long flow trails, which are among the longest continuously gently sloping trails in Europe. But even the most seasoned on the downhill and enduro tracks in Klinovec sometimes have heart rates that jump well above the standard values. Klínovec is simply made for beginners as well as seasoned bikers. Route description: We start from Karlovy Vary and follow the cycle path along the Ohře river, over the Svatošské skály to the third largest castle in our country - Loket. Via Kozí hřbety and Horní Slavkov we climb to the Krásno lookout. A path full of roots copying the national cultural monument Dlouha stoka will then direct us to Mariánské Lázně via Tři křížky and Kladská. And after 57 kilometers on foot, back to Vary by train. Total route length 57 km, elevation gain 780 km, time 4 hours Route: https://mapy.cz/s/pulojeboca
