Critical of the way in which human beings have become detached from all other forms of life, activist and intellectual Ailton Krenak predicts that extreme climate events will result in the creation of a new way of living in cities. Based on local, regional and international events, such as the fall and felling of trees in public parks in Campinas, the landslide in Serra do Mar and the earthquake in Turkey and Syria, the philosopher provokes reflection on the unviability of our cities and the serious situation of environmental disruption we are facing today. Krenak was at the University in early March for a conference and gave an interview to Jornal da Unicamp and TV Unicamp. https://www.unicamp.br/unicamp/ju/683... #Unicamp #Krenak
