Father Arsenie Boca, the one who over time enlightened the souls of all Romanians, in 1939 was consecrated at the Brâncoveanu Monastery and, a year later, ordained as a monk, receiving the name Arsenie. On April 10, 1942, he was ordained a priest and appointed abbot of the monastery. On November 25, 1948, he was transferred to the Prislop Monastery. In less than 10 years, Father Arsenie Boca awakened the conscience and opened the hearts of thousands of Romanians who came on Saturdays to hear from his mouth prayers to God, sermons with much wisdom and advice and help for the forgiveness of sins and soul healing and carnal "No one cares about the simple man. Or the Father took care of these simple people. And that's why he was great and that's why he's so loved and he's penetrated so much into people's souls because he's left deep imprints there."
