Juan Villoro is one of Mexico's most prolific and award-winning writers. He has published more than 30 books and has written short stories, novels, essays, chronicles, plays, and children's books. His most recent book came out this year and is called “La figura del mundo.” Juan is also very active in journalism, having collaborated with media such as Letras Libres, Proceso, El País, Reforma, and La Jornada. He has won sixteen awards and prizes, including the Herralde Novel Prize, the José Donoso Ibero-American Prize for Literature, and the Rey de España International Journalism Prize.
