The bodyguard Carl has lived a life similar to a Hollywood movie. He has patronized business leaders of large multinational companies, world artists and diplomats. But it is after many years abroad that his life fundamentally changes. One sunny day in a park in Sweden, filled with playing children, a man appears. He shoots Carl five times and pours caustic acid in his face. We hear about Carl's incredible story, about his time as a bodyguard and why he himself became a victim after his career ended. We also talk about Carl's inner struggle against himself, about how he still managed to become a bodyguard with rheumatoid arthritis and how he views forgiveness, resilience and love.
