God's servant Joëlle Gloria Kabasele, senior pastor of the Church Assemblée Evangélique Nouvelle Alliance in Kinshasa, talks about prohibitions for a person who is a source of blessings. When you are a source of blessing, here is what you must avoid in your life. Prohibitions in the Bible refer to the commandments and moral laws set out in the Holy Scriptures. They are intended to guide believers in their daily lives and help them avoid sin. Some examples of prohibitions in the Bible include the prohibition of adultery, theft, lying, idolatry, etc. 1 Kings 13 verse 9: For this commandment was given to me by the word of the Lord: You shall eat no bread nor drink water, nor return by the way by which you came. When God gives prohibitions, He just wants to see obedience. When we are a source of blessing, certain prohibitions accompany our daily life, God wants to see our obedience. Obedience must precede blessing, so much so that, without having first obeyed, we cannot be assured of being blessed, or of blessing others. Obedience is linked to blessing and the practice of God's commandments. And also, to live in a life of sanctification, far from sin, and iniquity.
