In your life journey, the intersection of the 4Ks is important: Heart, Character, Talent, Career. What makes your heart beat? What gets you out of bed in the morning? What are your character strengths and weaknesses? Which field do you naturally lean towards? How well do you know yourself? Designing a career based on all of these can open the doors to a meaningful and fulfilling life. Where could the intersection of your own 4Ks be? Are you where you belong? What can you add to what has been given to you? What is your path? Dr. Bahar Eriş, the brainchild of MomTalks, is an academician and writer who focuses on gifted and talented education in children. After graduating from Boğaziçi University, Department of Translation and Interpreting, she went to the USA with a Fulbright scholarship. She studied at Columbia University in New York between 1998-2004. After completing her master's degree in gifted education, she received her doctorate from the same school. During her 6-year education, she taught at Teachers College. After returning to Turkey, Eriş gave lectures on “gifted education” at Boğaziçi University Faculty of Education for 10 years (2004-2014).
