Hello Permapotes, In this video, I had the privilege of interviewing Damien Dekarz from the channel @permacultureetc. Damien is a true pioneer of permaculture and a fervent defender of agroecology. Together, we explored his edible forest, a true haven of biodiversity and ecological resilience. During our visit, Damien showed us the multiple facets of his harmonious ecosystem: • The Forest Garden: A space where each plant and tree has its place, creating a natural and productive balance. • The Vegetable Garden: A perfect example of organic farming, maximizing productivity while respecting nature. • The Grazed Prairie: An area where two donkeys and a mare contribute to the maintenance of the soil, enriching the earth in a natural way. • The Wild Zone: A space dedicated to promoting biodiversity, offering refuge and resources to a multitude of species. Damien shares with us his techniques, his philosophy and his practical advice for creating and maintaining such a paradise.
