When the Truma heater is running in heating mode or when warm water is produced via the boiler, there is high pressure in the hot and cold water pipes. The Truma antifreeze valve only triggers at 4.5 bar, which can lead to hose bursts and water entering the motorhome. However, there is a very simple way to limit the pressure to 1.5 bar using a pressure relief valve in the cold water pipe. You can see how it works from the pictures, the following components are required: 1x 1.5 bar pressure relief valve from the coffee machine specialist shop 1x 3/8" hose nozzle (to screw onto the valve) 1x lily yellow Y 45 connector 1x 1 piece cold water hose, inner diameter 10mm and several snap hose clamps 13.1 to 15.1 mm
