Hello. I took some of my bees to the pine region on 04.11.2024. We went to check the situation eight days later. There is a young population and a solid winter stock in our hives. I will keep these bees on the mountain until the beginning of January. The altitude is around 400 m... The hives will not have brood here, this way both the queens will rest and the worker bees will not consume too much. When I go down to the plain in January, varroa control will be done more healthily in the broodless hives. I also screwed the hive covers against badger damage. There was badger damage in two hives in the neighboring apiaries at the beginning of September. Badger chatter started to return recently. We secured our work and fixed the hive covers. Enjoy the show.
