The population is almost 15 million. Here you can stroll along the ancient streets, relax in an open-air teahouse, using the services of a massage therapist, a shoemaker and even an ear cleaner. In Chengdu, you can see many ancient temples, museums, old streets and local shopping areas that have preserved their unique flavor. And in Chengdu, there is the China Nature Reserve of Giant Pandas - one of the main attractions not only of the city, but also of China. This is a huge reserve where you can get to know the peculiarities of the life of giant pandas, which are almost never found in the wild and are protected by the Red Book.
