We take you on a walk in the Vosges, more precisely in the Hautes Vosges through forests, lakes, balloons. You will also discover Gérardmer, the Hautes Mynes (mines dating from the Renaissance) and the Vieil Armand (Site witness to the war of 14-18): • The gardens of Berchigranges • Tendon waterfalls • Gérardmer • The lake of Corbeaux • The Black Lake (and the White Lake) • The ridge road • The old Armand (Hartmannswillerkopf) • The big Ballon • The Ballon d'Alsace • The Hautes Mynes THE VOSGES The Vosges are a massif of medium mountains whose highest point is the Grand Ballon with an altitude of 1424 meters. The Vosges massif separates the Lorraine plateau and the Alsace plain. THE BERCHIGRANGES GARDEN The Berchigranges garden is located in the town of Granges-sur-Vologne (€13 per adult and €6 per child). The Berchigranges garden was born from the meeting of two garden enthusiasts and this place located at an altitude of 650 m. There you will discover thousands of plants in a succession of different atmospheres inviting you to stroll. THE TENDON WATERFALLS GERARDMER Gérardmer is a textile mecca with several factories/workshops in operation and various specialist shops. In winter, Gérardmer is also a ski resort. The town is a tourist spot in summer with the attractiveness of its lake on which many activities are offered. It is possible to walk around the lake very easily and many hikes are possible. A large car park very close to the town centre can accommodate camper vans free of charge.
