Time for another episode on BKSH - we recently showed you what many consider to be the most beautiful bike route in Poland, the Velo Dunajec and Velo Czorsztyn round Czorsztyn Lake. Today's atmosphere will be completely different - after a pleasant and family scenic loop in Czorsztyn, it's time for the real Hell of the South, a 200-kilometer round around Rożnowskie Lake, during which you will overcome over... 5,000 meters of elevation gain! I've shown you the beautiful climbs around Rożnowskie Lake many times. There are a whole bunch of iconic mountains here - one of the longest and most difficult climbs in Poland, Przehyba, the steepest public road in Poland, the legendary Rzeźnia in Laskowa, and many other, lesser-known but equally demanding climbs of over 20%. This area also offers beautiful views and a whole lot of excellent, narrow asphalt roads winding between the hills.
