One of the founders of the Slovak band Elán, keyboardist, composer and singer Vašo Patejdl, is one of the biggest figures in Slovak popular music. And that thanks to his solo albums, but also thanks to the songs he wrote for the legendary soundtrack to the movie Fontána pre Zuzanu and its two sequels. Patejdl talked about all this in an interview for the program On Air. How did Elán come to his logo, i.e. a boar with his tongue sticking out? Why did he leave the band for many years after the extremely successful Hodina slovenčina record and then come back again? And when the author of the lyrics of the song Voda, chó ma na ovvo, to which he wrote the melody, died in a car accident and its performer Jožo Ráž almost killed himself on a motorcycle, wasn't he worried about its "fatality"? Watch the full interview. ON AIR is a talk show by music columnist Pavel Kučera with musicians and people from the music industry.
