Journey from Muaro Aie to Alahan Panjang via Jln Pessel Solok - 24 Nov 2024 Our Exciting Touring Journey from Pasar Baru to Kabun Teh Alahan Panjang, West Sumatra. The journey with a small personnel with a fairly discouraged mentality because it has often rained in the last few days, but armed with our determination, we started the journey from Pasar Baru Bayang, Pessel to Muaro Aie, continuing to Kayu Duo, Kadai Sutan Mudo. Alhamdulillah it went smoothly even though passengers had to walk from Rest area 2 to Puncak Kayu Duo because the road was rather slippery and quite risky if passengers went uphill. After resting for a while at Kadai Sutan Mudo, we continued our journey, but first we added air to our motorbike tires which were reduced earlier when going uphill so that the tires would grip better on the dirt road. From Kayu Duo to Simpang Pasisie Main Road it took about 1 hour because we stopped several times to cool the motorbike engine and rest while enjoying the view of the tropical forest.
