In this video diary I am harvesting again in abundance and I wonder if I don't have the September syndrome. A term I invented myself by the way. I have to talk myself into going into the garden during this period: there is so much to do! I plant leeks together with my daughter Lina and we are finally slaughtering our aggressive rooster. Nice that you are here! My name is Ninon and I have been a vegetable gardener for over 10 years. Since last year my husband and I have had a garden in which we (but especially I) are very busy :-). In our garden we grow medicinal plants, useful biennials, fruit trees, beautiful flowers, vegetables and much more. All as much as possible mixed together and specifically planted to hide each other. In our garden we also have chickens (and recently also piglets!) and hopefully one day bees. I try to build our garden as diverse and circular as possible. I ferment a lot, am looking for the easiest ways to harvest and process, like to dry herbs, bake sourdough bread and occasionally experiment with medicinal plants. On this channel I hope to keep a kind of video diary for myself, because I think it would be wonderful to see how our garden grows over the years and how it is different with every season.
