Surah Al-Istijaba is named for its speed, as if it were lightning. Surah Al-Istijaba is the Surah of the Prophets. We can resort to this Surah when all doors are closed in our faces, at a time when we need one door from heaven to open for us. The only Quranic Surah in which the phrase “We responded to him” is mentioned more than once, and this phrase is not mentioned in any other Quranic place. Surah Al-Anbiya contains the keys to what was closed. It gathers the keys to God’s response to supplication. The first key, the key of our master Noah, was for distress. “And Noah, when he called before, so We responded to him and saved him and his family from the great distress.” The second key, the key of our master Job, was for severe illness and patience. “So We responded to him and removed the distress that was upon him, and We restored to him his family.” And the like of them are with them as a mercy from Us and a reminder for the worshippers. The third key: The key of our master Yunus was for the distress, so We responded to him and saved him from the distress. And thus do We save the believers. The fourth key: The key of our master Zachariah was for the offspring, so We responded to him and granted him John and made his wife righteous for him. Are they only keys for the prophets? The answer came in the same surah in two places. The first place (A mercy from Us and a reminder for the worshippers) All worshippers and mercy from Him and His mercy encompasses everything... The second place (Indeed, they used to hasten to good deeds and supplicate Us in hope and fear, and they were to Us humbly submissive) The rememberers, the charitable, the glorifiers, the fasting, the praying 🤍 #all
