We cycled for 8 days from Icoaraci, in the state of Pará, to Açailândia, in the state of Maranhão. We took on the PA010, crossing long stretches of farms, a green desert of eucalyptus, pastures, open fields and fires. Difficult stretches, suffocating heat due to the lack of trees and shade, and also without support, without houses, businesses, villages, nothing. On the side of the road near a bridge, we found some boxes containing a curious item that was very similar to the new t-shirts we have been using on the road every day, and we ended up having to transport them for a few days until they could be sent to a post office...
