Trójca is a former village, currently part of the town of Zawichost in the Świętokrzyskie Province. It would seem that it is an ordinary place like many in our country. Except that in 1931 a treasure of almost 350 denarii was found there, in 1937 another 500 specimens appeared, and in 2020, during the search, another 1,880 medieval coins were found! The recent discovery and the resulting archaeological research shed new light on what we know about the medieval Trinity near Zawichost. Was it an ordinary market at the Vistula crossing?
