This is a recipe for Malban, which is a dessert. The recipe includes the following steps: Ingredients: 2 cups water 2 cups sugar 1/4 cup lemon juice (or half a squeezed lemon) 1 cup starch 1 cup water (to dissolve the starch) Strawberry flavoring (or any other flavor) Red food coloring (optional, can be replaced with a natural dye such as raisins) Powdered sugar for decoration Steps: 1. Dissolve the sugar in the water over low heat, stirring constantly until completely dissolved. 2. Add the lemon juice, then leave to boil over low heat. 3. Dissolve the starch in a cup of water. 4. Add the strawberry flavor and food coloring to the starch mixture. 5. Gradually add the starch mixture to the sugar and water mixture, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens and becomes firm. 6. Gradually add a cup of powdered sugar to the mixture while continuing to stir. 7. Pour the mixture into a buttered and starch-sprinkled mold. 8. Place in the refrigerator for at least an hour until it cools and solidifies. 9. Cut into cubes or squares, sprinkle with powdered starch and serve. Notes: The recipe explains the importance of sticking to the ingredients to get a successful result. It is recommended to use a wooden stick to stir instead of a whisk. You can use grated walnuts or ground nuts as an addition.
