Children who follow their abusive husband who wants to break up The Sato family may seem like a normal family at first glance, but deep problems lie hidden inside. Ichiro, the husband, repeatedly committed domestic violence (DV), frightening his wife Misaki and their children. Misaki had thought about divorce many times, but she could not make a decision because her children were attached to Ichiro. Misaki was talkative and behaved cheerfully around her, but in her heart she had a grudge from 20 years ago. She had made a big compromise once when she was young, and as a result she married Ichiro. That compromise still bound her heart. One day, Misaki finally made up her mind and asked Ichiro for a divorce. However, the children insisted on following their father, and Misaki's heart seemed to be torn apart. She decided to put her children's happiness first and respect their opinions. Misaki consulted a lawyer and sought a way to legally protect her children from Ichiro. She decided to submit Ichiro's DV acts as evidence and fight for custody of her children. Ultimately, the court accepted Misaki's argument and issued a restraining order against Ichiro to ensure the safety of her children. Misaki was able to start a new life with her children, but in her heart she still had the lingering feeling from 20 years ago. Nevertheless, she decided to move forward for the sake of her children.
