The “Black Pig Mansion” is a 19th-century building and originally belonged to a wealthy officer who lived here with his family. After the soldier’s death, the house was taken over by a doctor, probably in the early 20th century, but what happened after that is unclear. The fact is: even after the doctor left, the massive building was still inhabited, probably until the 1960s, but there are hardly any traces of this - and then there is the wine cellar with bottles from the new millennium. It’s all somewhat mysterious... And what’s the story behind this strange Urbex name? “The Black Pig Mansion” does sound strange, but the name is no coincidence.
