I stayed at TAOYA, a top brand developed by Oedo Onsen Monogatari. I have stayed at TAOYA brand inns in Nikko Kirifuri in the past, and this was my second stay in Nasu Shiobara. The inn was rebranded and reopened in August 2023 as TAOYA Nasu Shiobara from Oedo Onsen Monogatari Kamoshikaso, and I heard that it was renovated with the image of light shining into a cave. The selling point of this inn is meat dishes such as sirloin steak cooked on an open flame grill and Mont Blanc served for dinner, which is not available at other TAOYAs. Indeed, the sirloin steak served was extremely delicious, exceeding the level of a buffet. This time, we were given special permission to film the hot springs (large bath and open-air bath) that are usually not allowed to be filmed, and before the opening of the inn for dinner and breakfast.
