Our guest this week puts Brazil on the Dutch map with her music. At the age of 9, Sarita Lorena left sunny Brazil, where she grew up between two cartels and delicious food, for the Zeeland Waterlandskerkje in the Netherlands. Her mother flew over for love and Sarita flew after her. She could leave Brazil, but the Brazilian girl has always remained in her. After experiencing all the culture shocks in the Netherlands, she quickly switched. With her special sound and Portuguese lyrics, she introduces her audience to Brazilian vibes, but also to her personal life. On June 25, she launches her EP ''Lachgrimas'' in Portuguese ''Tranen'' On this EP, she talks about the tears from her toxic relationship, in which her ex tried to commit suicide several times in front of her. We ask her what this period was like for her. And how her EP contributed to her healing process. Which painful moment in your life helped you to pursue your ambitions?
